can't upload pics

Hi, I'm tring to upload a pic and can't get it to work. I've resized the pic to 900p width and its about 150k. Im using method 1 from the sticky and get to the point where it says upload successful but no image appears in the post. I'm on a Mac and have tried using both safari and firefox.

I tried adding the pic again on the last post and I guess there's just nothing that pops up in the text field to tell me it had actually would be included. Now I know - problem solved.
