Buy/sell numbers are different

Question:

I always check the buy/sell forum and check into "Airplanes" and I see a certain number of posts (say 75)....then I check "My Selections" which include 'Airplanes' and a bunch more, but the number of posts is LESS than with just 'Airplanes'...howcome?
