Email Notifications Not Working
 

Hello, I have never been able to get thread email notifications to work and I would really like to get to the bottom of it. I am subscribed to a good 50 threads, some set to instant notification and others to daily, but I never receive any emails.

Of course I can log in to the forum and go to the Subscriptions page and see which threads have been updated. But I would really like to receive the emails.

I discovered also that RCU has two emails for users - a forum email, and a Member Account email. But I have both set to the same email address (at gmail). I have checked my spam/junk folders and nothing is going in there.

Do notifications not work at RCU? Or do they not work at GMail? Is there some secret trick I'm missing?

A month and no response?

I have discovered something new. I receive email notifications on threads of which I am the author. So I know that notification theoretically do work, and I know they are not going to my junk box.

However for threads which I did not start, even threads in which I have posted, no email notification arrives.
