Marking Threads/Forums Read
When I read a thread, it stays bold when I return to forums. No amount of clicking on any Mark Forums Read does anything. All threads are bold, and stay bold.
Annoying. |
It does make it hard to know which threads I've read and which I haven't. These 'upgrades' don't seem to be working the way they were intended.
|
Yeah,, noticed that recently too, I give up reporting bugs,, as the saying goes, "it is what it is", Clearly Internet Brands couldn't care less about having a correctly working web site,, like this site used to be when it was owned and run by hobbyists

nah, man,
no one would really be that devious. ya think? do they really think that we are that stupid? |
Well it does make you click on threads just to find out there are no new posts,,, so
|
well, add rev is based on total page clicks...
as well as clicks on actual adds. |
Hi all. This is a glitch. We will get it fixed. Thank you for reporting it.
As you have seen, Thomas and I are here a lot, replying to issues being reported. We will continue to do so, and update the community as things get fixed. I'll have Thomas stop by here to handle this one too. |
Hey Guys,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I just logged the problem with tech, hopefully we get this sorted out soon. |
i been not saying a lot about this particular error, because, it has been working ok on my desktop. kinda afraid to jinx it. other than the bold type, everything else is working as supposed to.
got the color icon, yellow continent world, for forums with new posts and the little square box icon, blue with a checkmark, that shows new post in a thread. when i click the mark forums read link at the bottom of the main forum page, it does so, and when i come back, only the new stuff is lit. using the rcu desktop NG. |
It's fixed now. At least on my end of things it is.
Thank you. |
