ground loop
How to prevent ground loop??
|
Look at your wheel alignment. You want to have a degree or two of toe in. If you have toe out, it promotes a ground loop if one wheel stays on the ground. Don't over control on the rudder. Consider reducing your throws. Look at your balance.
|
Really easy.
Same as full size. Aileron into the wind and rudder opposite. The objective is to head straight down the runway (rudder) with no sideways drift (aileron). Once on the ground, use appropriate aileron and rudder to stay stuck to prevent getting blown over. |
A lot of exponential on the rudder. If you have the space for an extra servo and an extra channel you can put the wheel on a separate channel so only it, and not the rudder, has the high expo.
