Search within a Thread
Is there a way to search within a thread. With some of the threads on this forum exceeding 1000 posts this would be a nice feature to have.
For example say I am building the new Funtana 90 and I am wondering how everyone else installed the fuel tank. Currently I could go to the Funtana 90 thread and wade through 1000+ posts which would take quite a while. With a "Search This Thread" function I could find the information quickly. Thanks for a great site. Lawrence |
RE: Search within a Thread
yes..this feature is coming in our next upgrade. I'm waiting for the developers to wrap it up. I hope in the next 2 weeks. They got delayed and lost some time last week from what I understand.

RE: Search within a Thread
Or use teh standard 'windows find' function: holding he crtl & F keys at teh same time. This will bring up the windows 'find' dialog box. Type in your query, and then hit 'search'. Works only in a windoiw, so if teh thread is many pages, you'll have to repeat it for each page. Also works with Word, other web pages, Excell, windows explorer, etc...

What do you know, the "search" function worked........... to help me find this answer before I asked it. :)
Can't wait for this upgrade! |
RE: Search within a Thread
I think the upgrade may be this week. Couple minor things to test out but I think the rollout is quite near.
We may be down for a few hours during the upgrade so please bear with us during this time. we will try to do it at a low traffic time. |
