Picture in post

Hi

How do I put a picture in a posting?
I have tried the 'Image' button but obviously I have not quite understood the syntax or is the another method?

Click reply to this post and look just below the message box for "click here to upload". You will be prompted to find a photo from your harddrive in which you can upload.

it should work regardless. try shrinking the filesize under 200k and the image to under 1000 pixels as a test in the other forum

i have failed the test......i uploaded the pic i want from my comp and a window pops up and says "OK" or link saved or something like that so i know it's in RCU but i don't know what else to do because when i click OK the window goes away and there is no pic for me to post.

what forum were you trying to put a picture in. maybe it does not allow photo upload?

Seems to me if I host the pic that this site would like that better. No uploading.
Just set a restriction on a no bigger than pic on a page.

Oh that is just wierd!!! Now it appears in the post twice!!!

Regardless of what I do I cannot seem to post a picture. I too use the file upload window and as soon as it uploads the window closes after clicking OK but there is no picture in the post.

What kind of image files can be used on RCU? I have drawn a pic. using paint and it wouldn't upload. ANy way to convert. I have adobe photo shop will it convert file to one that will work? Stoene
