Clicking on the + / -

Hi RC Admin.
Viewing a forum... want to expand on the title... click on the + or - usually the response is
"Loading.... please wait".... now that just flashes on the screen and the + changes to - but it
does not "tree" them.
My setting: Tree Style .. Flat Style .. Simplified Flat Style... I've altered all three, same problem as state above.

I see "Newer Topic", "Older Topic", "prev", and "next" pointers; but they don't seem to do anything.

+/- don't seem to do anything either.

sorry for late reply. I have duplicated the problem and investigated the code but still have not figured out why this went "dead" all of a sudden. It is a ripple effect of some kind from some other code I changed before but I need to find out where exactly.
