FILE TOO LARGE!!!
That is the message I get now when I try to post a photo. I use HP Photoshop to reduce the photos down to 320x212 [or so] and those postage stamp sized photos still are rejected by RCU. I would like to know why this is happening now, after 3 relatively trouble free years of uploading photos. The postage stamp size is worthless, any way, too much detail gets lost.

RE: FILE TOO LARGE!!!
Combat,
It's not really the pixel size that is most likely the problem but the actual file size may be too big. You probably already know this but the requirements are Max. 3000KB; gif/txt/jpg are supported There may also be a problem in the server software here on RCU if this just happened recently, like today. I'll let the powers that be know this just in case |

Test 1MB file and 1300x1100 pixel
Success..cannot duplicate your problem. Perhaps something in your file is corrupt or your computer/browser has some issue? |
RE: FILE TOO LARGE!!!
Thanks for your help guys. I'll look into it at my end. So far I thought I was doing pretty good figuring out how to edit a photo for email , I don't have a clue how to limit file size, I just thought it was all about picture size. What I can't figure out is how some guys can pass through entire photo essays about their project [for example look at the extreme speed forum, there is a thread there now about a .15 sized ship being built with about a dozen full size photos] and I have never been able to pass more then 3 full sized photos through, usually just 2. I'm with EARTHLINK, and they have an accelerator for dial up users like myself, could this be a source of trouble when sending?
