Ouote problem

I have noticed that when you quote someone, after the "Closed Quote" code, the word "undefined" appears

clear you cache, close all browser windows and reopen. you have an old javascript file in your cache. until you clear it the problem will persist although in 24 hours your browser should try to grab latest regardless and that would solve too

Sorry ... it's not fixed!!!!

Try hi-liting (selecting) any of the text you see in a quote or any text you type yourself ...
Can you select anything??? I can only select one maybe two characters at a time ...

Also this affects creating a link. Prior to this problem ... I could hi-lite (select) a word and press the link button and the hi-lited text woud appear in the URL name textbox. It no longer does this ... I now have to enter the thread name manually.

You're not done with the "fixin" yet ...

Oh ... if only "fixin" the bug was as quick as installing the bug ...

sounds like you have old files in your cache..clear your browser cache, close all browser windows and restart then try with full reload and report back. I have testd in IE7 and Firefox and all works fine and so have others verified

I still had the problem with Firefox. All I had to do is clear the cache and reload the page. All is well now...

RE: Ouote problem

I think anyone that has problems now is just old cache issue and they just need to clear it and reboot browser. Alternately if they wait a day or so the cache will self clear

Using IE6, I've cleared cache and have waited a day and the hi-lite (selecting text) problem is still there.

Sorry ... but can't seem to make it work like it did before you upbugged ... oops I'm mean upgraded.

The hilite (selection) of text doesn't work if I choose <reply> either.

I've flushed and flushed and this probelm just won't go down ...

Reference the thread "[link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5952604/tm.htm]highlighting problem[/link].
They appear to be having the same problem.

Since the "highlighting problem" is more appropriate to the problem I'm having, I'll continue my responses in that thread.
