Having trouble programing AGM 2 axis camera gimble

I have an AGM 2 axis camera gimble. I am trying to adjust the range of motion of the pitch motor.
I have the programming software from their website, but I can not get it to connect to the board.
All I can get is "connecting" which should take 8 seconds, but it will not finish to the point where it would say "connected successful"

Has anyone been able to adjust theirs successfully?
