Shadow UAV
 

Hi guys. im new to the site. just wanted to introduce myself. i am new to RC planes, however i have 4 years experience as a shadow uav tech in the marine corps.

i came to this site because im looking for information on building my own rc plane. mostly i need information in the electronics. i am currently in school to get my A&P so im using the skills i learn there to build the airframe.

the project is quite ambitious. i plan to build a scale 1/62 model boeing 787 powered by electric ducted fans. i plan on using all composite construction including kevlar and carbon fiber which is all being provided by my school.

any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

some of the key details i want to include in the project is retractable landing gear and functioning flaps and slats. hopefully i can pull this off in about a year
