Throwback Friday, I missed Thursday

Signifying nothing, here is an old (45+ years) photo I ran across. This was perhaps my second model build ever. A homebuilt free flight, TLAR design, Cox .049 power.
As I recall, this one lasted about 15 seconds under power, then the wing folded (wasn't supposed to fold!) and the entire thing ended in an ignominious crash. Learned something about reinforcing dihedral joints from this one! http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2031501 |
