Futaba 14MZ with 36Mhz bandwith?.
#1

Hallo,
I`m getting a very good deal on a 14MZ but it`s in Australia and operates on 36Mhz and i operate on 72 Mhz.
My question is if i buy the radio what do i have to do to change the Australian modulation to 72Mhz so i can use it?.
The radio doesn`t use the Fasst 2.4Ghz system but if i buy the radio i would definetly change it to operate on Fasst.
If i buy the Fasst 2.4Ghz system and replace the module of the radio will be my problem solved?.
Thanks.
Greg.

On a Futaba 14MZ, you simply have to plug in a 72 MHz transmitter module to make it work. Before that, though, you will need to send the transmitter to the service center to have the region code of the transmitter changed so that it will accept the module. That, though, will make it impossible to use the current 36 MHz module, which will be European-coded.
