8 Channel FASST Rx
I may need an eight channel Rx for a setup I am doing, but don't currently have any of the S-bus equipment. I am looking at future capabilities so I just want to verify a couple of things:
1. Is it correct that the R6108SB 8-Channel 2.4GHz FASST S.Bus HS Receiver is still a standard 8 channel Rx that can be used traditionally (not in an S-bus setup)?
2. Other than lacking the S-Bus capability, are there any other differences between the R6108SB (HS) and the R6008HS 8-Channel 2.4GHz FASST Receiver?
3. The 6008 has a dedicated battery port, the 6108SB does not, does it actually matter which port I use for the battery plug on the 6108SB, or is it like most receivers and I can use any open port?
Thanks!

1. Is it correct that the R6108SB 8-Channel 2.4GHz FASST S.Bus HS Receiver is still a standard 8 channel Rx that can be used traditionally (not in an S-bus setup)? Yes, this can be used with either analog or digital servos and can be used as a regular receiver.
2. Other than lacking the S-Bus capability, are there any other differences between the R6108SB (HS) and the R6008HS 8-Channel 2.4GHz FASST Receiver?
There would be no major differences in range if that is what you are asking.
3. The 6008 has a dedicated battery port, the 6108SB does not, does it actually matter which port I use for the battery plug on the 6108SB, or is it like most receivers and I can use any open port? Yes, you can plug the battery into any port.
Thanks!
