This may have been asked and answered previously but I can't find any reference doing a search.

My question is whether there is some level of model compatibility between the 14SG and the 18MZ models? Can I copy a model from one to the the other or run them thru some software to be able to use one as a back up for the other. Currently I can do that between my 14MZ and 12FG, hopefully Futaba will continue some level of compatibility between different levels of radios.

The file format is different-enough that models in the 14SG cannot be transferred to the 18MZ.

Thanks Bax That was my guess but was hoping. Guess I will just keep my 12FG as my backup when I get a 18MZ.
