The neutral dead band of a servo also depends on what transmitter and receiver you are using.
This is not something we can easily answer.

Futaba doesn't have deadband listed as one of the specifications of their servos. In the 12X, 14MZ, and 18MZ transmitters, you can set the amount of hysteresis in the Stick Setting section inside the System Menu. This amounts to adding the amount of deadband you desire when you move the sticks. It's used by some F3A flyers.

Hi,
Yes thanks - I use FX40'S - The Robbe version.
That is a completely different function - a simple way to view that is that it helps with shaky hands
Servo deadband speaks to it's centring ability - the size of the target so to speak.
Are the details not available for Futaba servos ??
