I've just noticed that following the latest 18MZ update to 2.5 the instructions state that when complete the Encoder should read 2.2 and the Editor 2.5. Both mine and a friends transmitters show Encoder 2.0 and Editor 2.5.
When loading the update the same error message that the previous update generated saying that the update was not compatible with my transmitter occurred though all seems OK when the power is cycled and it continues to load the language pack.
Would you be kind enough to clarify whether we have a problem and what the function of the encoder is.

Did you download your software update from a U.K. site or from the North American site (www.futaba-rc.com)? That may make a difference.

I used the US site as it is not posted on the UK site. Ripmax advised there should be no difference.
