Default Idle Switch

Hi guys,

What is the correct methodology on a 14SG to program a switch for high and low idle, i.e. low idle on the ground and on final approach and high idle during aeros?

If you can point me in the right direction I can probably work it out but I'm not sure what the best way to do it is.

Thanks

There are a couple of ways.
1) use a throttle->throttle mix. Keep the curve the same except at the bottom end. Turn mix off to get lower idle, turn on for higher idle.

or use idle down

2) Futaba's "Idle down" is really more like an "Idle up". When it is ON the idle is lowered, when off it is set to where ever your idle trim is.
