Futaba Flap Set Up
Hello,
I have a Futaba 18SZA, I need to set up flaps on a 3 position switch. I went into the function menu and assigned one of the 3 position switches, but now I would like to adjust how much flap is deployed in each position of the switch? I went through the 177 page manual but could not find what I needed, I might of over looked it, but I honestly did look.
Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

What kind of plane?
Here's an easy way (and how I do) to do flaps on a 3-POS switch.
1) place switch in middle position
2) make sure servo arm is mid-point in throw
3) adjust for whatever flaps you want in this position using the linkages
4) use end points for each servo to set up UP and FULL flaps at the other 2 switch positions
Super easy method.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have a Free Wing L39 jet, just received it as a prize from a contest. I have never had to set up flaps, but they do recommend them for this model.
Thanks again,
Mike
