Default S-BUS2 Filter

Hello Bill.....
Sometime back there was a recommendation by Futaba to use a noise filter on the 18MZ S-Bus lead.
I can't find that info now.
Is this still recommended and where can I find out the latest info?

Thanks
Dave

I do not recall that warning, and if there was one it was likely for a specific sensor. I am not aware of any such recommendations at this time.

Bill....this device was not intended for one sensor....it is a noise filter and was announced by Futaba as a fix for noise getting onto the s-bus2 wire and causing crashes.
I'll keep looking for it.....it's out there somewhere and when I find it I'll send you a PM with a link so you can post it here if you like.

I've asked the service guys and they know of no such device. All we can think of is the receiver capacitor that can be used to smooth out voltage spikes on the RX, but it is not S.Bus2 specific.

Interesting. I have not seen that in the US. I know several of the better Futaba F3A pattern guys and I have never seen them mention anything like this. I have passed it along to the service folks to see if they have any feedback.

As I said, I've not seen anyone in the US mention using these. Thanks for finding it.

I'll pass along any feedback I get. I've also bookmarked this link. Thanks!!
