Forgive me if this has been covered before, I wasn't able to find an answer in my searches.

I'm new to surface radios, I have a few air radios (Futaba/Spektrum), and I cannot figure out how to assign a dual rate switch. I've figured out how to assign switches, and change dual rates, but I'm looking to assign a dual rate switch for the throttle (electric truck) so my kid can drive. Is this possible? Or do I have to adjust the dual rates every time?

There is a dual rate on steering, but not throttle. For a novice slowing down the steering is probably more important than the throttle.

Thanks for your help. I would agree about the steering as well. Problem is, my truck is a Kraton with a 4985 (6s only), so it can be a handful. Just trying to figure out how to tame it down (quickly) when others want to drive it.

You could simply use something to limit the trigger travel to help control speed.
