Broken switch lever
In my haste I banged my 6XAS into the computer desk and broke the switch handle for the Elevator Dual Rate. I don't want to send the transmitter in to get it fixed and I'm wondering if there is something I can use to jury/rig the broken switch. I do use it with my UltraStik and would be devistated to lose that option. Can you recommend a glue/weld or new switch lever to replace it.
I repair circuit boards at Delphi and am very adapt at surface mount soldering. Is this something that can be replaced by soldering on a new switch.
What kind of trouble am I getting myself into?
Thanks for your support,

RE: Broken switch lever
You can obtain replacement switches from Futaba service and do it your self. The advantage of sending it to Futaba and let them do it, is that they will also check out the radio and see that it is funuctoning to specs. I have had good service and reasonable cost and quick turn around time.
I also am very adept at soldering and repairing electronic circuits but I do not have all the test equipment to check everything out, so I send them in when I have a broken switch.
