Default QUestion about 9C programming

AMCross,

Hi there!

I'm confused on how I should connect, program my chipmunk with the 9CAP. It's got dual ailerons and 1 servo moves the flaps. Do I go with the typical:
1 Aileron
2 Elevator
3 Throttle
4 Rudder
5 Gear
6 Aileron
7 Flaps

If so, how t should I program it making the best of both the radio and the model.

Any suggestions appreciated..

Regards,

R.

R,
Sounds like a very reasonable setup. simply setup flaperons, and, if you want htem to work in conjunction with your flaps, do a mix from your regular flaps - ch 7 - to your flaperons channel 6. Then be sure to use a flap to elevator mix as you're definitely going to see some ballooning with that much flap area....

You might look at the setup for the ultrastik on our FAQs to get a better idea.

amcross,

First off all, thanks for your quick response. Also I thinking....With this setup my flaps should be assigned to one of the knobs, right? Can I change this...Let's say to a switch to get them active and then regulate them with a slider???

Am I on the right track or totally off it.

Regards,

Hi again!
The flaps will be assigned wherever you assign them, using the Aux-Ch screen. One of the many great features of the 9C (and 9Z does the same under FUNC screen).
