Default GV-1 Governor

I have a new GV1 and I am installing it on a hirobo freya with a YS 91 engine.
Before installing, the instructions talk about plugging in the sensor to the sensor port and hooking up a battery to one of the servo ports and selecting the sensor screen from the menu and checking what side of the magnet to mount facing the sensor, My problem is that I can't get any reaction to either side of the magnet and the screen just reads 0% no matter what I do.
Do I have a bad sensor or am I doing something wrong?
How would I know if I have a bad sensor?

Thanks, Andy

Hi Andy,

It sounds as though the sensor or magnet is bad, you would want to send this in to us to be checked or replaced.

From what you are describing it sounds as though you are setting it up correctly, you should be getting a reading when moving the magnet in front of the sensor.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support team at 217-398-8970 opt 2, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
