"Throttle Cut Warning" Lock-up on 9Cap

"Throttle Cut Warning" Lock-up on 9Cap
I have a Futaba T9CAP\MFR#9CAF that I bought about 2 years ago .It locked up on a Throttle Cut Warning when powered up , and I Couldn't turn off the warning by flipping the assigned switch off.(H )I was able eventually to to do a Firmware reset by holding down the 2 select curser buttons and pressing the the select wheel. I then re-assinged the throttle cut funtion to another switch..The Radio has also had some “Gremelin Programming Changes of some settings , again intermittently, although no “Interferance Glitchs!
In the mean time I have bought another Futaba T 9CAP Super and transfered all my aircplane settings from the old one to the new one via the Campac.
I am not able to recreate the lock up again on the old transmitter... but I'm uncomfortable Trusting it ... I fly Giant Scale gassers that cost a lot of Time and $$$$! … I think there is at the very least a problem Intermittant switch and a Possible firmware problem ... which concerns me more.Is my concern well founded and I should send it in for service?? ... or should I just consider a "Reboot " ???and change the switch my self ?

If you are having any type of recurring "Gremlin Programming Changes" in this radio, then I would suggest sending it in to us here in the Service Center to be checked out.
