I currently have 2 Futaba 9CAP Supers and I want to go to a Futaba 12FGA 2.4 GHz. I want to use the 2.4 on my Jets but I also need to still use my 72 MHhz receivers for my other airplanes.

I know I can buy a 12FG with a receiver and then add the 2.4 modules, but it seems the cost will be excessive and I don’t really need another 72Mhz receiver.

My questions are:

1 – Can I buy a 12FG on 72 MHz without a receiver?
What will be the cost?
Can I buy it through Tower Hobby and if so, what is the Stock Number?

2 – Can I buy a 72MHz module for a 12FG 2.4 GHz?
What would be the cost?
Can I buy it through Tower Hobby and if so, what is the Stock Number?

You can buy a 72mhz module for the 12FG, it uses the exact same module as the 14MZ.

1) Some retailers will break up the 12 FG sets and sell each of the parts separately. They don't come as transmitters-only from Futaba.

2) The 72 MHz module-only is:
