with regard to 6 ch fasst xmitter........on my biplane will i still be able to use ch 1 for one set of ailerons and ch 6 for the other ?

Yes, the 6EX has channels 1 and 6 for the flaperon mixer, which will allow you to use two channels for the ailerons.
