Futaba 10fg or 12fg
With the wealth of information available, would someone be so kind to point out the clear advantage of the 12fg over the 10fg. I have been using Futaba since 1969, currently PCM 9CHP & FF7. I have found programming the 9 quite good.
Turbines with Flaps & Retracts are my upper limit, maybe a smoke system somtime in the future.
One drawback of the 12 seems to be that it is not backwardly compatibile with the 9 & 7 Ch pcm Rx, (6 of which I have) which the 10fg will do.
Is the resolution of the 12 twice that of the 10?
Is there a dedicated 10 or 12 2.4GHz set on the way, the current method rather looks like a duct tape / bandaid interim measure, but I do understand the usefulness of module swapping back to 36MHz with the 10fg ( this is Australia)
As it is here, we are enjoying the use of 2.4MHz sets, uncluttering our 36MHz band.

RE: Futaba 10fg or 12fg
We believe you are asking about the 10C. There is no 10 FG. There are significant differences between the two systems. The 10C is a maximum of 10 control channels: eight fully-proportional and two switched. The 12FG has 12 fully-proportional channels and 2 switched. The programming and capabilities of the 12FG are much, much greater than the 10C. Here are the features:

Thanks Bill,
I incorrectly had 10FG filed as the Model name and hence had a great deal of difficulty searching for info.
Once using 10c & 12 fg, the info was already available.
many thanks.
