Default 8UAP rcvrs.

I have several planes I plan on building that will not utilize the capabilities of the 8U. Will the 7 chann el DC rcvrs work with the 8U xmtr. My interest is because the 7ch rcvres. are much less
costly then the 8ch.
Thanks, Dick L.

You can pretty much use any receiver from any manufacturer that supports the Futaba signal shift (negative?). The number of channels the receiver has does not matter at all. You can use a 9 channel receiver, but only 8 of the channels can be effected by your transmitter. I routinely use the Hitec 555 5 channel and the Futaba 127DF receivers with my 8U Super.
