OFFSET??
 

Now I ahve read all the manuals and I still can't seem to get a handle as to what " OFFSET" means. I have gotten the transmitter out with a receiver and servos hooked up and watched the movement of the servo in relation to what it is I'm trying to achieve and tried different Mixes that have "OFFSET" at the bottom of the programming screen. I do know from what I have been able to pick up that it has something to do with the Servo travel at certain points or positions that may require more % travel in order to start movement. But I simply don't Understand how the Offset % is setup.
I know this may open up a lot of opinions, But the Manuals are not Very clear, Or shall I say, not User Friendly enough to give Me an example in Layman's Terms. I have the ability to pick up on just about anything, But this " OFFSET" thing has Me Bullied into submission.
Bax, can You explain this feature without all the Tech Jargen that normally goes along with the explanation?

In a mix, setting "Offset" as master means that you are moving the channel centering to a desired position. So, in the 8FG, 12FG, 12Z and 14MZ transmitters, setting the offset in a mix will move the center of the mixing curve.

In some of the older transmitters, it moved the slave channel to a fixed position...it gave an offset to the starting position.
