R6014HS Current

Sorry if this has been answered before but I searched and could not find the answer.

What is the current draw of the above mentioned Rx at idle? I'm running 7 digital servos and when all is idle I'm seeing approximately 170-200mAh draw from the battery. Non of the servos are binding or moving.

Thanks

RE: R6014HS Current

The receiver, itself, draws about 50 mA or so at all times. The servos are what consume power, and their current varies with load, from about 100 mA up to several Amps.

That's interesting because no servo is binding or moving. All are idle and motionless. I just don't know where this current is being drawn from.

Even when nothing is moving, all components will draw current. This is known as the "idle" current. The electronics inside all of the components are stil operating, even though the servos are not moving.
