6014HS Rx battery inputs
 

Quick question here. While getting rid of my Power box/expander, I end up not having enough servo ports on the receiver.

Can I safely use the DG1 and DG2 ports on the receiver as battery inputs or I have to stick with the 12 channels and the dedicated battery port?
I can't see how it would not work but I've been told not to do that for obscure reasons.

I'm not sure about the Digital channels but I do know that you can "Y" off of one of the proportional channels for an extra battery input.

Yes, you can use the DG channels for battery input if you are running out of room or do not want to use a Y-connector into one of the other channel ports.
