T8FG Bind same RX to different models?
 

I have a rather complex heli setup using my R6208SB receiver. That heli is temporarily inoperative so I tried to move the RX to another model for testing. I created a new profile on the transmitter and the RX will not bind under this new profile. I can select the old model in the TX, and the RX connects beautifully. But the new model will not allow me to bind.

Is this some kind of a safety restriction? Surely it is conceivable that you may need to move a RX from one model to another?

I do not want to have to delete the model profile. If I get a small SD card, ( I only have a 4Gb at the moment) will I be able to save the profile to the SD for later use?

If the receiver's linked to the transmitter, it will stay linked. However, you'll need to check the model's memory to see if you have the same transmission protocol set up. Go into the Linkage Menu and then the Frequency function. You need to make sure that the FASST setting is correct for the receiver you're using. That will be saved with the model memory. You need to have the transmitter set to "MULT" or "MLT2".

Thank you so much for responding. Yes, that was the problem. The other model had 7CH under the frequency so it would not connect.
