T10cap

I have a T10CAP with a R617FS receiver, using standard 3004 servos with a 6 volt battery pack, I've used the same set up for years, Today I started getting intermittently the rudder servo giving full left deflection with the stick in the neutral position, if I give full right it returns to neutral. this happened twice today once on the ground once in the air. If I cycle receiver off an on it goes away and I have not been able to replicate. Only change today I switched the timer to the G switch, the gyro is off so set to G however I have no gyro and it is inhibited in the radio set up. any ideas? I'm planning on deleting the plane tonight in the radio and starting from scratch to see if I have issues tomorrow.

Thanks for any advice.

If the problem goes away when you cycle power to the receiver, it's not likely a transmitter problem, but something in the airborne system. If it's a transmitter problem, you should see it happen when you are using other airborne systems with different receivers and different servos.

If it happens with other receivers and servos, then you can safely conclude that the problem's in the transmitter. If it happens rarely, then even a trip to the service center may not find it...intermittent problems can be the devil to find and correct.
