R6014HS DG1 and DG2

Can I use these switched positions for power to my smoke pump? I am using channel 14 to turn the pump on and off and the DG2 connector for power, The pump does not shut off with this setup.

If the pump will work with the preset throws on the DG channels it will work. However, some devices need different limits and the DG channels cannot be adjusted. You can connect power to any on the ports, they are all wired in common. Can you connect smoke to another channel where you can adjust the endpoints? Which readio are you using?

Also, where do you fly? I am in Ladera Ranch and fly at OCMA.

Thanks for the response. First, you answered my question regarding the DG to supply power only. I understand that you cannot adjust those outputs. That's why I stated that I am using channel 14 to control the pump. The limits are set at -100/+100 on that channel. I even tried linking both so that the power would be cut off 2 ways, both signal and DC power via DG. This is on an 18MZ. I put the pump on a seperate battery and a seperate RX and works the same on any channel, never shuts off.

Thanks for understanding my question regarding the DG for power only, others must think I am trying to run the pump from a DG type output only. That is not the case.

I think I may have a defective pump as I have this same set up (not a V5 pump) on 3 other jets and it works fine.

I fly turbines and larger aerobatic planes in Coachella, and fly OCMA during the week, mostly 120cc aerobatic planes.
