9C Programming for 8 servo Operation

The plane that I am building is just a funfly based on the magic / limbo dancer and I dont want to spend the extra money in buying the MSA to split the servos.

I have the 9C, How do I plug and programme all the 8 servos into it. There are 4 aileron servos and 2 for elevator and 2 for rudder...and 1 for throttle.

Thank in advance.

Regards
Marcus

Marcus,
Here are a couple links to Futaba's FAQ's on the 9C. There are several more.

I'd probably use a Y-harness on the rudder, and then you'll have enough channels for the 4 wing and 2 elevator servos.

RE: 9C Programming for 8 servo Operation

Are you planning on anything fancy like a Hanger 9 Ultra Stick Quad Flap setup?

If not, then try this:

1) (2) Airlon servos on the right wing Y-connected to channel 1.
2) (2) Airlon servos on the left wing Y-connected to channel 6.
3) (1) Elevator servo connected to channel 2.
4) (1) Elevator servo connected to channel 8.
5) (2) Rudder servos Y-connected to channel 4.

A) Activate the FLAPERON function in your 9C
B) Activate the AILEVATOR function in your 9C (0% for airlons)
C) Be sure you match your rudder servos before installing -- this is easy to do if they are digital and can be programmed (Hitec)
D) As with C above, be sure each pair of airlon servos are matched.
