Idle problems
I'm hoping someone knows a cure for my problem. I am using a 9Z Wc2, when I pull the throttle down to idle and release the stick it advances enough to add 5 to 6 hundred rpm to my idle speed. I'm wonderding if there is an adjustment that will cure this problem, that I can do myself. It seem as if there is some tension on the bottom of the stick travel causing it to advance after it's released. The stick tension has never been changed from the factory settings.

I thought there was a Futaba rep checking this forum?

RE: Idle problems
Sorry for the delay, but we can't get to all of the forums every day.
Your throttle stick should not behave as you've described. Something's likely broken in the gymbal, or possibly just loose. You should be able to reduce the throttle all the way down and let it got without it moving. It should be sent in for service. |
RE: Idle problems
You can pull the throttel and it will spring back a lttle, most all do.
If the rachet is on top of a tooth it will move to the bottom. You can fix this by having the sevro wheel all most over center at low, this makes low speed adj. easy. Darryl Usher |
