9CHP programming confusion.

Hi Folks,

I am in a state of confusion here and the web site didn't help any. After 2 days of messing with this I am appealing to you for help.

Background: I have a Futaba 9CHP xmitter with 8 channel ppm receiver, all digital servos, installed in a World Models Fun World 3D plane. Dual elevator servo's, dual aileron servo's, dual flap servo's.

My goal is to have functional flaps, flaps working in conjunction with ailerons, and well, right now I would just like everything to work. I'll sort out the rest later.

I tried the setup that appears in a link from a review on the plane in question on this web site and no dice. Then I opened a new model and tried the setup that is given on the Futaba faq page, realized that it was designed for an elevator setup with a "Y" connector and moved on to the second faq which refers to using dual elevator servo's plugged into channels 2 and 8.

Here's the problem: In the setup menu I have found no way to adjust the "left" setting in P-mix 4 and P-mix 5. ( I believe the option to enable these mixes also says INH and/or OFF if I remember correctly, the faq says there should be an ON?) Anyway, the end result is I have no control over the left elevator which is plugged into channel 8. No control over the left flap, and the right flap is always hard down at 100%.

I would really appreciate some enlightenment here. Don't want to do the "Y" connector thing on the elevator or the flaps due to the nature of the plane but I'm in over my head here.

Got your PM, I will reply with the info you requested but it will be late tonight. Gotta do the civic duty thing tonight. So many projects, so little time!

Thanks so much in advance for your time and efforts on my part. They are appreciated![8D]
