Futaba 8 CH programming

Is there a way to use the "gear switch " to turn on another function like proportional brakes on Ch 8 without affecting ch 5 ? ie can I dissassociate the gear switch from Ch 5? Tks

Yes, this is easy to accomplish by using a Pmix to deactivate the switch.
