8UAFS won't power up

My son removed the antenna from the 8U by unscrewing it while we were at the field one day,I reinstalled it and the radio won't power on. Is there a fuse or something else that may be simple,or is it toast. I removed the rear cover and didn't see any damage.

Hi Mike,

It may be that the module or the internal circuitry suffered damage if the transmitter was on for any length of time without the antenna installed.

I would suggest sending this into our Service Center for our technicians to check for you.
