Throttle Exponential on 9CAP
I've never needed to use any type of exponential on my throttles but I have an issue with a Magnum 52XLS on a Phoenix Sukhoi in which the throttle is very responsive from idle up to about half throttle, but kind of stale from half to full throttle. I've checked the carb and my EPA are fine. I thought this would be a good time to try out some type of throttle management capabilities of the 9C. I'd like to make it a smoother powerband across the whole range of the throttle.
Can anyone recommend some setting and modes? |
RE: Throttle Exponential on 9CAP
You can get this by using Pmix 6 or Pmix 7. Turn it on, set throttle as master and throttle as slave. Link OFF, and the switch setting as NULL. Now go to the page with the graph. Set each of the points where you want them. You'll have to have your model with you as you set the five points, and you'll soon find that you can get the throttle curve you want.

Bax,
Is this pmix linked to that particular plane, or is it universal? Could I set this pmix, say pmix 7, for different planes with different settings saved for each? |
RE: Throttle Exponential on 9CAP
The pmix would be for that particular model. Change to a different model and you can have completely-different settings for every function in the transmitter.
