Pecking order
 

How do the experts here on the manufacturer's forum determine "how and who" to answer if a lost sole comes here to ask a question? Seeing how technical questions sometimes are set aside maybe someone that is allowed to answer a guestion will answer this one...Regards

There is no pecking order. RCU is not a full time job, and we answer as we can. We try to get to everything in a timely manner, but sometimes, we have to look up information or get help from someone with more specialized knowledge.

One problem, is that the board is sometimes so active that a question drops off the first page. Also, we look for answers with the red zero to show that we've not dealt with a person's concern or question. If somebody other than us answers it, we'll not likely get to it, since it will look like it's been answered.

Finally, sometimes we flat out just can't get to the board, and so questions may linger a few days.

One problem with the internet, is that peoples' expectations have gotten to the point that if an answer isn't available in a few hours, or even a day or two, something's wrong. It's not...we handle tens of thousands of emails per year, tens of thousands of customer phone calls per year, and thousands of customer R/C products. We're sorry if we get delayed a day or two on a question.

As someone that has dealt with Hobby Servies, Bax and Krysta on several occasions, I can tell you the whole crew there goes above and beyond and are one of the class acts in the industry.

Personally, I miss AM, [&o]
