2nd Request - Airbrake to elevator mix question
Bax:
I am using Channel 1 and 6 on airleron and channel 2 and 7 on split elevators on a 9Z transmitter. I use the airbrake software to activate down flaps on both airlerons. I then want to mix in some down elevator within the airbrake screen. The problem I am having is that only channel 2, (one side of the elevator) accepts this input, not channel 7. Your help would be appreciated. Paul Eagon |
2nd Request - Airbrake to elevator mix question
Paul,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We hadn't forgotten you. Had to pass this one off to one of our 9Z experts. With his many responsibilities, it took a few days to get an answer. From your description, it sounds like there may be a missing "link" function in one of the mixers. Channel 7 sounds like it's not linking properly. Does it have "LIN" set? Hope this helps. |

different things but no luck. I think I will try a different mix. Keep us posted. Doc |

Not sure if this will help but you might try using the 2-6 mix and then slave channel 7 to channel 2 which should already be done. I'm not sure how the 8U works because I have a T6XAS and a 9CAP.

I finally figured it out. You have to cursor down to the offset listed in the master list of channels not the one in the mix itself. In other words you cursor past ch 8 to offset then over to the asst other functions.

Yes the Aux 1 is in "lin". I did some further checking. I beleive the Aux 1 channel is assigned right knob from the factory. I changed it to "nul" on both sides because if you accidently changed this knob position, 1/2 of your elevator would be off. Is this my problem. Does Aux 1 (or channel 7) have to have a switch assignment to link properly? Thanks for the imput guys, but the 9Z is considerably different than the 8U or 9C. Paul |
