129DP rx issue
bax,
i have the 129DP receiver one of my aircraft that has an interesting behaviour. I am using this receiver with the 9ZWC2 radio. recently i noticed that the throttle servo would go full throttle on its own even when airplane is on the gorund with engine not running. Cycling the servo brings it back to operate normally. Thinking it is a bad servo, I changed it out but the behaviour still persists. Looked into manual but could only see that the safety feature says that the throttle should go to idle if receiver detects low batt situation. Running dual batts on it and batts are good. What gives? bad receiver? Mind you, only happens on throttle servo. Azhar |
RE: 129DP rx issue
Hi Azhar,
If you believe it is not the servo, then I would recommend sending the receiver into us to be checked. As a precaution though, you may want to go into a blank model and do a ground check with this same receiver and servo still hooked up to make sure that there is no programming that could be causing this behaviour. I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721. RE: 129DP rx issue
Krysta,
thanks for the reply. did further investigation, and found that one bad servo, and it was not the throttle servo. I went to a different model memory and did a clean slate program and watching it again. It still happened on that channel. I am now using a different rcvr (319dps) and so far so good. The weather is bad ut will try with engine running to see whther there are any more problems. |
