2.4 3pm RECEIVER SMOKE
 

Hello I just purchased the Futaba 3pm 2.4 radio today from my local hobby shop. But when I set everything up, there was smoke coming from the Receiver. How would I go about getting a replacement? It was purchased today.

one more question, on my other futaba reciever when i press the throttle the gas servo dosent work but the sterring servo does work. when i switch them around the gas servo works but the sterring servo doesnt. what would the problem be? could it be something that i pressed on the radio?

Hi Johmel,

Send the 2.4 receiver into the service center as soon as you can, we'll be happy to check this out. Also please fill out the "Return for Service" form on our website at:

Please include any information you can think of that may help the techs diagnose the problem.

For you other problem, I am not sure which transmitter you have, but it could be a programming issue. The best thing to do is to go into a blank model and reset everything up to see if this solves the problem.
