Futaba S5101 servos
I have several Futaba S5101 servos that I want to use in my airplanes, however, I am unable to identify the specs. I dont know if these are ball bearing, coreless, or their torque, speed, etc. Please help me to sort out what I have so that I may employ them properly. The case size is just very slightly smaller than the popular S3003 servo. I seem to have run into a dead end street on my own, so I thank you very much for your help.

Thanks for the info'
I see the S9001 listed as "coreless".
Is the older S5101 also a coreless servo? |
Futaba S5101 servos
Used them myself back a couple of years... Futaba pls correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember their specs as non coreless (cored) motors...they were very smooth though...I liked their lighter weight/smaller size.

Futaba S5101 servos
Good morning KenChoo,
You are correct the S5101 is a "cored" motor. The smoothness that you notice is most likely from the Dual Ball Bearings that they have. I hope you find this information helpful.
