Use with Simulators
 

Can I use my T6XA controller as is, or should I remove the crystal? If used as is need the antennae be extended? Is use with a simulator such as G2 Real Flight in any way damaging to the controller? Thanks

Hi Barland.

To proctect the radio, it is a good idea to remove the crystal. You will notice a longer charge on your battery if you do this and it does help to protect your radio and also does not broadcast any RF output. The antenna does not need to be raised to use this with your software, but depending on the radio, it is a good idea to prevent overheating in your transmitter.

Use of the 6XAS with Realflight, will in no way harm your transmitter.

I thought you used your transmitter with G2 in the off position. Do you have to turn on the transmitter?
