Just woundering what distance the futaba 2er covers

Questions about radio range is not something that we cannot accurately answer, as there are many variables.

On the average, the range on car radios is approximately 500 feet, airplane radios range will be as far as the flier can see.

Water would affect an airplane on the surface, just like any other surface model, but not once it's in the air.
