More FASST rx choices

I have a 14MZ with the 2.4 module. Is Futaba going to come out with more of a selection of receivers for me? There is the cheap 604FS which I can get in 4 packs from Tower, but apparently the 14 doesn't work with those. So for my park flyers, I have one choice. If I want to have 2 aileron servos in a foamie, I have to go to 7 channels, since the only six channel rx takes the micro plugs that I don't like due to their fragility.

Any word on when Futaba will come out with some more variety in the rx department?

Regards, Guy

The R6004FF rx will work just fine with all FASST TX's (air)

its apparent that futaba doesn't work with a lot of stuff like a hitec 5625 servo.........just do yourself a favor and get a spectrum i will be.........good marketing for futaba but the product isn't living up to its promise.........

RE: More FASST rx choices

I am not sure why I would forgo my 14MZ for a JR/Spektrum? I guess my main issue is that I wish I would have alternatives to the $50 4 channel and the $100 7 channel. Currently I only have two receivers, an 8 channel in my Nitro heli and a 7 channel in my small electric heli, but I am looking to get a few more, I would like to buy a 4 pack of the cheaper 4 channels for foamies, and I would like a 6 channel full size plug model for aircraft where I want individual aileron servos.

Anyway, thanks for the replies.

Later, Guy

For a low-cost 4-channel Futaba FASST receiver, you want:

FUTL7624 R6004FF 2.4G AIR MICRO 4CH RX US$64.99

Otherwise, the next option is the R617FS if you don't want to use the R616FFM receiver.
